Veterans for America

The Justice Project (TJP) is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation to form Veterans for America (VFA), a new educational, humanitarian and advocacy program addressing the causes, conduct, and consequences of war. VFA brings generations of veterans together to build on more than 25 years of experience in protecting America's values abroad and at home. VFA is committed to addressing the needs of veterans, service members and their families and their larger concerns about the impact of war.

The founders of TJP are veterans of war who have risked their lives fighting injustice. TJP remains committed to the goal of fighting injustice and to creating a more humane and just world. In addition to the VFA program, TJP will continue its commitment to reform the American criminal justice system. To this end, TJP will continue to develop, coordinate and implement national- and state-based initiatives using legislative advocacy, communications, coalition building and grassroots mobilization to advance the goal of making the criminal justice system - particularly the administration of the death penalty - more fair and accurate.
