Jane Ryan

Director of Development

Jane Ryan joined The Justice Project in October 2007 as Director of Development.  She brings over 18 years of nonprofit fundraising experience to her work with TJP, including 11 years with the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence (formerly Handgun Control) where she was responsible for significantly diversifying the organization’s funding base.  Jane’s nonprofit fundraising career has also included work with the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the Prevent Cancer Foundation (formerly the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation) and the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters.

Prior to entering the nonprofit fundraising world, Jane worked for Congressman Alan B. Mollohan of West Virginia as a Legislative Assistant. Jane graduated cum laude from St. Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. Following graduation from St. Mary’s, she studied Intergovernmental Management at the University of Southern California Graduate School of Public Administration.
