True Stories of False Confessions

September 11, 2009

The Center on Wrongful Convictions has recently published a new book. True Stories of False Confessions is a  collection of 39 articles adapted from newspapers, magazines, and books, showing precisely why and how people confess to crimes they didn’t commit. This book shows that these cases are not aberrations, but rather serious evidence of flaws within the criminal justice system that demand reform.
